Genuine Nokia G22 Parts Now In Stock

During this year’s Mobile World Congress, iFixit teamed up with HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, to show off how to take apart and repair the Nokia G22 using step-by-step guides and to encourage visitors to try it out. Considering most other manufacturers at the international trade show presented devices that were decidedly glued shut, together we demonstrated that a different way is possible.

Access to high-quality repair manuals is one part, but to make self-repairs feasible, getting parts into the hands of users is crucial. This is why we are happy to announce that genuine replacement parts for the Nokia G22 are now in stock for the UK, Australia, and the European market. G22 owners can now get replacement parts for their back cover, battery, charging port assembly and screen assembly.

You can buy these parts alone or in our complete-solution Fix Kits. The Fix Kits include the genuine Nokia part alongside all tools necessary to complete the repair, such as opening picks, spudgers and a trusty iFixit precision screwdriver including the right bit for the job.

If you’re a Nokia G22 owner and want to start your repair journey, you can find all the necessary information on a dedicated Repair Hub on This includes step-by-step guides for the repairs with helpful notes and high-res images.

“We’re excited to work with manufacturers like HMD Global who want to make repairs more accessible,” said iFixit CEO Kyle Wiens. “20 years after founding iFixit, being able to fix your device is more important than ever for a sustainable future, and we are just getting started.”

With this collaboration, Nokia Phones becomes part of a growing list of manufacturers that support self-service repairs with the help of iFixit. During Mobile World Congress, we got the message loud and clear: device owners want to fix things themselves. And we’re happy to help manufacturers meet those needs.

We hope to be able to work with HMD to make parts available in additional regions soon and to support upcoming Nokia phones in the future.

So while accidents happen—even with Nokia Phones—you shouldn’t let that stop you. Just repair it yourself!
